TN at HGTV: Spring Projects

Spring is in the air. It’s time to get out and start working the outdoor common areas for the months of entertaining and relaxing ahead. To help you on your mission, I have 4 new projects over at HGTV.
The obelisk is perfect for your garden as a support for growing tall plants or just as decor. Truth be told, I’ve moved mine indoors and incorporated it into my living room, if only temporarily. The entire project was under $20 (I already had the paint) and only took a few hours to complete, including drying time.
Use the repurposed dresser porch decor as inspiration. With enough space, you can use any old dresser or piece of furniture (I like ones with drawers) to dress up your entry.
The galvanized plant stand is industrial and fun. Apart from cleaning the pipes, there is very little work involved. The finished product will add unexpected personality to any space.
Lastly, make this fresh mint chocolate shake. You won’t believe the difference it makes when you use fresh ingredients.
The actual step by step photo instruction galleries live over at HGTV. Click through on the photos or the links above to get the full story.
